- Description:
- This is for the Slow Scrap. The 10 photos all relate to my husband and I from our up bringing (both Dads in the Navy) as well as my brother (in the Navy too) who helped us meet each other and fell in love. It was the begining of his career. When he proppsed, I told him I wanted to be married in the same Chapel my parents were married in 1949. It didn't quite work out that way as I ended up in the emergency room. We were married in the Navy hosptial and we began our life as a Navy family for 20 years. We had two children and settled in Gretna, LA where his parents lived. It has been a good ride.
