Description:
Finally made it, first thinking what I could do, and, without thinking of it, the we were sorting out what stuff to give away and what not...this turned up.
Journaling is on the tag, in Portuguese, the story is like this:
in the old photo (on Sarita's phone) are our friend Lu, who used to live in Trancoso when we did, Sarita (with the hat!) and Vanessa, daughter of my friend and neighbor Marga. Lu had come to London whilst in Europe, we had an amazing time and her visit was one of the things that made that year one of the most amazing ones of that decade. The hair Lu bought and gave as a present to Sarita as she saw how excited Sarita git with them at the market...and no matter how many times we tidy up stuff, we both haven't wanted to get rid of the hat, treasured memories go with it!!!

      oh this is great Cynthia! I love the British furry hat and that photo on the iphone of Sarita wearing it is perfect. Love this.. well doone my friend.. love the masking of the photo into the background. Your layered papers and clusters.. fabulous in red white & blue :) Love it!
