Mira! You were our first family dog. We got you, little black puppy, on October 8th, 1994 from the animal shelter in Bielefeld. We didn't really want a puppy, but it was the best decision we've ever made. You were so simple and easy to train. You were quick to obey. You were always happy, never really sick. You were just lucky. I miss how you lay on my feet. I miss how you demanded your cuddles when there was little time or hectic. I miss it when you ate a dried bun half loudly smacking your lips. I miss your look, the noises you sometimes grumbled. I miss the long walks with you. You were so uncomplicated there too, got along well with every dog and human. You never walked far If a car came and I shouted "sit", you would immediately sit down and stay that way until I was with you and then said "continue". Barking was almost never an option for you, yes sometimes when playing out of sheer excitement. If we met your best friend Aila along the way, you would have been a bit overjoyed. I don't have a dog that shows his joy as cute as you did. Sometimes I miss the drops of water that were always around your bowl when you drank. I can still hear your squeaks when the master came home from work. The children were also greeted when they came home from school. It was a different sound than Master's, but no less heartfelt. You accepted every new grandchild and put up with everything when the little children's hands weren't quite so careful. You were unique, like every living being. You were so special and you laid the foundation for my love for dogs. If you hadn't been like that, maybe I wouldn't have your 3 super great followers today. Thank you Mira!
What a cute dog Mira was! I love how you focused on all the wonderful things about her and the way she set you up to love dogs. I love how the story has an importance on your page, but Mira is the first thing you see!
