I live and currently live in the Münsterland in Warendorf in the Freckenhorst district. I haven't lived here for long, but apart from the last 4 years I've lived a few places further on for almost 40 years. I like the area here, there are lots of quiet farm trails so I can run with my dogs. Freckenhorst is rural and yet you can get almost everything you need for daily life here. There are many bike paths, so you don't just have to rely on the car. Yes, that's about it, what I can say about the place. As I said, I've only been living here for a short time and because of the pandemic I don't get out that much to explore the place. But hopefully at some point I will have the opportunity to take a look at the castle, the church and the various farm shops. Oh yeah, and before I forget, there is a large garden center here, it's really worth driving there. If I want to see water, I drive 2 places further there is a beautiful lake that you can walk around in an hour. Great for a leisurely stroll.
