Explanation: My photos are all taken in the same nature reserve, in all different seasons, all during the pandemic.
Journaling:
Delsjöområdet has been such a haven for me - my whole life, but even more during the pandemic. The nature reserve contains several lakes as well as kilometer after kilometer of paths through the forest. I always breathe deeper when I go for walks there, and I have enjoyed swimming in the lakes since I was a kid.
But during the pandemic, when we weren’t allowed to see people indoors, it became even more than that: A place to go and spend time with friends. It became a living room, of sorts, the given place to meet for me and many of my friends. If we have to be outdoors when we meet, we might as well meet in the most beautiful place in the city, right? So that’s what we’ve been doing. And I’m so grateful to have this wonderful place to spend time in, enjoy nature, and recharge my batteries. Spring, summer, autumn or winter didn’t matter, during the pandemic it’s where I spent my time.
oh girl... what a wonderful place, an how wonderful that you have translated a feeling so beautifully with your page....the journaling is beautiful, makes it to the heart.... we live 5 minutes walk to Hampstead Heath, the biggest reserve in the North West London (England) it has a huge lake, where people go swimming ALL seasons, (there is a Netflix documentary about it) and we take everyone who comees to visit us there,. But, unlinke yours, this one was closed to the public for most of 2020.... it would have been so great if we could have access...I can imagine (and see here!!!) that it was such an amazing thing for you guys!!!! Beautiful portrait of life!!!
