On this day we married and became a family. We were introduced on the eharmony dating web site. We lived about 63 miles apart, still in metro Phoenix, but just about the furthest apart two people could be located. On our first date to dinner and a movie we immediately hit it off, we talked for hours after the movie.
On this day I am 6 months pregnant with our only child Alex. We knew we were getting married. We knew we wanted a child in our lives. We thought it would take longer to conceive, since I needed a little help from my OB to ovulate. Our dreams to have a family came true sooner than we thought. No bid deal, I thought, I’d find a maternity wedding dress, I thought. Thank god for online shopping and accurate sizing on web sites.
On this day I made a vow. It was almost 5 years ago now. Oh man, have we had our hard days. And we’ve been crazy happy. It’s not a first marriage for either of us. We are both determined that it will be our last and that we’ve created a bond that’s meant to last.
What beautiful journaling, and so neat that you met on a dating web site. 63 miles apart is quite the distance for a growing romance! Congratulations! Love the photo and the clean and simple design style to your page. Thanks for playing along with my challenge!
Beautiful take on the challenge! Love your little cluster in the top corner. PS It does my head in to think that you can be "in the same city" (so to speak) yet so far apart!
This is so beautiful. I love the journal the most. I love that you two are determined to make this thing work. Congrats and wishing you much love and happy years!
