journaling reads:
When Steven passed away I knew that I wanted some type of memorial tattoo, but I had no idea what to get or where to put it. I had a few ideas for some things like his signature or a small version of one of his tattoos, but nothing felt quite right. I decided that when we went to clear out his things maybe I would get some sort of sign from his metal art or something. I was disappointed to come home with no ideas. We did come back with most of his belongings and I put a few things out around the house. One of those was a dragonfly suncatcher that I hung in the kitchen window. The morning after I hung it I was getting coffee and looked up and was hit with my sign. I found a cute pattern and decided my wrist was the best place for it. And that is how I ended up with a dragonfly tattoo in his memory.
Love the story behind the tattoo, thanks so much for sharing it with us. I also love the way you angled the papers and then with your title and brushes created diagonal draw on the other corners.
