MOC Day 8 - Present

- This word is both something I feel I do well, and something I need to work on. Homeschooling, I spend A LOT of time with my kids. I am PRESENT with them almost 24/7. I love that. I love that I don't miss a moment, but I think sometimes I take for granted that time. Sometimes, I glaze over. Sometimes, I forget to really stop and be PRESENT with them in the little moments. The silly moments. The noisy moments. I can tune out a lot, because well, being with them all the time, I have to for sanity's sake. So this year, I want to really focus on continuing to be present for the big, important stuff like school, sports, etc., but also be more aware of being present in the not so important moments too. I chose this photo because it was the first photo ever taken of me with all 3 of them, just a few hours after Andie was born. It is a stark reminder of just how quickly time passes and that I really do need to slow down and be more intentional with the time I spend with them.
