Journaling is about how I minored in German in college. I even did a summer abroad, studying and traveling in Germany. However, after college I didn't have much opportunity to use the language and if you don't use it you loose it! 20+ years later, my youngest daughter is in a dual language immersion program and the only language offered is German! It has been really fun to reconnect with the language. She is much more fluent than I ever was.
