This took quite a bit of thought, but I got there in the end.
The dress photo and description are from Delineator, June 1933. The photo provided for the challenge inspired me initially by the typewriter, hence finding something that would accommodate Old Typewriter typeface.
I also liked the sense of white space and the teal of the typewriter.
Kit was Dawn Inskip's gorgeous new Light & Shade Love Ya. An overlay from Paula Kesselring's Grunge Collection 2 was used to add texture to the text.
The shape used for the photo is from Dawn's Torn Paper Masks 9.
The old ad is from Baers Garten Designs, Vintage Finds.
I like the way the element seems to be holding up the photo!! The neutral background paper works so well with the black and white photo and dark color font used in your journaling!! Thanks for playing along with the inspiration challenge during MOC5!
