3.50 AM Woke before the alarm as usual. Up at at my desk and doing the usual round. XXXXX isn’t published till next week, but XXXX is back.
I work on the next BYOC collection for The Lilypad. The papers are finally coming together.
6 AM - we have a new power supplier and they offer ‘an hour of power’
(off peak free power). I put on the evening’s dinner to cook and do two loads of washing.
7AM - XXXX is published and XXXXX wants me to join him swimming at the pools, like he did yesterday. The rain has stopped and the plan is for him to run there and me to walk, after heading off slightly earlier. He overtakes me by the marina, but then I beat him to the pools after discovering a sneaky shortcut! That makes me laugh.
8.30AM - I get back to work on designing the papers for BYOC, and I check facebook for potential flats for XXXXX, who has been told her place at XXXXX is not secure.
10.30 AM - I go to the supermarket but I buy too much and it is very heavy carrying it home, so I have to stop a lot! My pain is flaring a bit today and I am tired.
1 PM - We head to bed for our usual siesta, and I sleep deeply for an hour.
4 PM - I finish the papers for the new collection! Good news text from XXXXX. She has been granted a place, so can stop the hunt for a flat. She is equally relieved and a little disappointed I think.
5 PM - I ring my Mum and have a great chat. Then finish making dinner while listening to the audiobook of Hannah Gadsby’s memoir. Then I do some scrapping for my own albums.
6.30 PM - XXXXX is home and we watch the news, then an episode of “For All Mankind”, another of “Bump” and then read in bed for 20 mins.
