Your struggle with this is real and comes through so clearly in this layout. I wish I could set your mind at ease, but I know it’s something you have to wrestle with. Though I am a believer and so don’t face this dilemma, I wanted to tell you I admire you so much for thinking through your reasonings and intent. I confess I am not that thorough when it comes to celebrating holidays (I’ve celebrated St Patrick’s day with gusto for years and didn’t know until this post why the holiday came to be).
