journaling:
Zierikzee is the town my grandma was born and raised. She has told me stories about her dad being a fisherman and that as a child she was waiting for him to come home while playing at the harbour. I had never been here before last summer and I am not sure in which house exactly they used to live but I know it’s one of the houses in the picture. I was struck at how beautiful a village it is and how it felt to literally walk into my nana’s footsteps.

I love the colors and that big bold title, but the best part it really the journaling. I love how you documented a little piece of your family history along with documenting your life.
How wonderful to be able to go to her village. It's nice to be able to have family stories & be able to be present where they happened. Wonderful feeling! SUPER page as usual!
