Karai and Porã, born in mid-September 2020, and their mother, Mariua, are already running free in the middle of the Iberá Esteros, the place from which the species was uprooted seven decades ago, victim of hunters and the advance of man, that push them out of their habitat into the roads where many jaguars were run over.
But thanks to a unique and unprecedented project, for the first time in the world an attempt is being made to return this great feline to its environment, but not before doing an arduous work of raising awareness so that the entire province of Corrientes is protective of the species with which it feels identified and which it promises to care for today.
