One man's junk is another man's treasure right? This is just an ordinary ceramic bunny. Nothing really special about it but its Aubrey's most precious possession. It had belonged to my Grandma Sandy who passed away when Aubrey was 7 years old. My mom gave it to Aubrey simple because Aubrey took a liking to it. Whenever she arranges her room, it gets the most prominent display location. Over the summer there was a tornado and she cried, worrying about the rabbit. To calm her, I wrapped the bunny in every blanket she owned and tucked it into the washing machine for safe keeping during the storm. I guess it's her own little piece of Grandma and truly priceless to her!
On all of my photos I used:
1. Oil Paint Paper with Linear Burn blend mode and opacity reduced to 48%
2. Paper Canvas with Multiply blend mode and reduced to 41% opacity
3. Gesso Paints with Soft Light blend mode at full opacity
4. Paint drops used as is with paper clipped to them
I can't read the journaling what's teh story of this really cool bunny? I like the texture you added you could have added even more to make it even look older.
@ScrappyHappy82 OMG... now you have me crying!!!! What a sweet thing! I was just being nosey about it, because it looks old and I bet it had a story. What a precious connection and memory your daughter has! Thanks so much for adding the journaling.
Love the stitched border and the overall arrangement of your page! love the pop of teal against the neutral colors! Your journaling is so sweet! What a wonderful story to document!
