Journaling:
I can’t believe you’re 16. This scares the living daylights out of me. You are so different from your older brother. So fearless and independent. Looking much older than your age, girls, driving, working… all things I should already be used to by now. However, I’m not. I feel like a fish out of water, navigating this with you. I think you being the middle child and the guinea pig is a challenge for both of us. So much so we butt heads more than we should. Or that could just be we are two peas in a pod. Even with all the trepidation, I am proud of the young man you are becoming. Even if your strong sense of independence and the need for the last word drives me bonkers. I’m glad to be taking this journey with you. And if nothing else, you’ve paved an easier road for Evan.
What a fantastic page and wonderful journaling. Your son is very handsome as well. I love the stitching border, the elements and papers you used, but the photo in b/w is perfect here. Well done Tammy!
