Journaling:
When most people think of Orlando, Florida they usually think of Disney World and the other theme parks. However, there is another, lesser-known Orlando. It’s the older Orlando which contains beautiful botanical gardens. The Harry P. Leu Gardens is one of these. It’s located about 30 minutes outside of downtown Orlando and contains nearly 50 acres of landscaped grounds and water features. It has meandering trails shaded by oaks which lead to the various gardens. One of the highlights is the rose garden, and the flowers are magnificent.
