I adore the bold black, white and red on top of the kraft paper. I agree with Justine, perfect choice to replace the doily with the spider web. I have never seen one of these creatures. I think I would be totally creeped out. LOL Your layering here is awesome!
At first I thought that it's a Halloween page, but when I looked again, I realized that it's actually a Christmas page about a spider. I love it, I love the color scheme, and the story!
Great storytelling and love the red, black, and white colour combo with the kraft background. I agree with the others, substituting the spider web is a stroke of brilliance! Great page!
I was shuddering until I read it was a toy. I really like the use of the spider web graphic alongside the Christmas themed goodies and bold colour choice.
