…we saw “Collected Stories” at the Hipp. It’s about two women: Ruth a short story writer and teacher; and Lisa her student. Over a period of 6 years Lisa evolves into a successful author who is about to publish her first novel based on Ruth’s life. “The women struggle with the moral dilemma of whether a person's life events are suitable for another to use in their own creative process.” Resting on the abilities of the two actresses, this production does not disappoint. The two hours flew by and left you wanting to know more about these characters. It was a good evening.
