I have been itching to use the fabulous Art Journal backgrounds by Jacque Larsen (I rediscovered them in my stash) and this is the perfect challenge for it.

Edeena, omg!  How wonderfully perfect that overlay is for this picture and page!  Such a dramatic effect it has on your page without taking away from your picture or making this look crowded.  It actually still looks clean and simple but with a punch!
