Description
If it weren't for the pop out challenge, I'm not sure I ever would have scrapped this photo. My son gets lost in it otherwise. (The curses of metering for an exposure on film, only for the sun to dive behind the clouds at the last second.)

Absolutely perfect use of a pop out! You're right, he might have gotten lost in your photo, but the pop out works perfectly to draw attention to him! I love the dark photo though! It's great! Perfect cropping on this one to make it vertical too!

@Karen thank you! I didn't have to crop the photo at all; I got really low on the boardwalk and shot up for this. Otherwise, the tiny patch of cypresses we were wandering into wouldn't have looked like a forest at all ;)
