Several years ago I was obsessed
with knitting podcasts. I loved Vikki's.
I sent her a package one year after
winning a podcast prize, and we have kept
in contact ever since. we chat through texts
and share bits and pieces of our lives. It is
really lovely to have someone who checks
in on you, even though you are many miles
apart. She is such a talented maker, and
she sends me the most beautiful packages,
too. She lives in Canada, so I don't know
if we will ever be able to meet in person,
but im so glad she's my friend.
