- Journaling: I don’t know when I first became attracted to the number “10”; I’ve liked that number as long as I can remember. Favorite , the quarterback for the old Baltimore Colts. His jersey number was “19” so, by extension, that also became a favorite number. It was “cool” because my twin sister’s favorite number is “9” – so he was a combination of both our favorite numbers. Our birthday is April “19” so, again, a combination of both our favorite numbers – very appropriate. I wonder if our favorite numbers had to do with our birthdate or if “10” and “9” would be our favorite numbers if we had been born a week early?!
Anyway, I was married to Jim on 10-19 a combination of my two favorite numbers. “1019” also is the code for “heading to the station” in police jargon. Listening to a scanner when Jim was on duty, I’d always know when I heard “1019” he would be coming home soon.
