“My Next Chapter officially started on September 20, 2025, but thing have been so busy since then with helping my daughter out with my granddaughter Hazel and now recovering from a total hip replacement that I don’t feel like my new Adventure has actually started yet. As soon as I have recovered and can drive longer distances -- maybe April 2026 I’m planning to kick off my retirement and all of this unstructured time with a trip to our Beach House in Stone Harbor, NJ. It’s never to early for a walk on the beach or to sit and read a book. for as long as I want. I do still have committments to activities I love but I was doing those before I retired so they are not new -- I just won’t feel rushed anymore -- and that’s something I savor!”
