Journaling: We have come to the point in our lives when it is time to start looking for a new home. Both children will soon be out full-time, we are getting older, the interest in looking after the garden and house has decreased and the interest in travelling more has increased. I want to find a single-storey house of about 100 square metres, with a small, easy-care garden that doesn’t need to be renovated. I could imagine a townhouse if it is in the right location in relation to other houses. The hunt for the right place has just begun and we are not in a great hurry to find something else, so this time I want to find our forever home. Documented February 1, 2026.
