Photo frame made by me. I started with a S from the Old Newspaper Types font, duplicated and mirrored it and then attached them to each other. I then duplicated them again and built the frame. For the corners, I attached four O:s of the same font to connect the different sides. I clipped a paper to the frame and used a 3D style on it.

your method is exactly the kind of thing i had hoped for! if you hadn't told me about the S's mirrored, in the gallery and on your page i would have just seen a scalloped kind of lace style blue plastic-y frame and would have thought it came in a kit - you really designed an awesome frame - way to go!
