This is beautiful! I love the diagonal flow of your page and how you replaced the stitching in the original with musical scales. The fact that each of your instruments is backed by a flatter version of them as well is such a perfect little detail too! It drew my attention straight to them! Thanks so much for playing along with my challenge!
Such a precious photo and wonderful page Kelly!! Are you sure Parks isn't an old person in a “littles” body??!! He is so smart and his historical love of things (ie George Washington) and now his love of the symphony he is way beyond his age.. how fantastic!! Love how you scrapped this with all the music pspers and elements. Well done!
@cfile. My brother and sister-in-law, Parks' parents, were both music education majors when they met in college- they both play the saxophone and Candace also plays piano. So Parks' interest in music is probably to be expected with 2 parents who love music so much! Both of them ended up with degrees in other things as they changed their majors eventually, but my brother was actually in the Marine Corps Band when he first graduated from high school, and my SIL was in the Atlanta Symphony for a few years when she first got out of college.
