Are you a dancer Kate? I am in awe every time I watch someone do ballet because I have zero dancing skills whatsoever. I love your three different photos with the close-up in the corner. I also love the banner over the heart in the middle! Thanks for scrapping our multiple photos MOC challenge!
@umyesh I used to be. Not so much these days. Too many knee injuries but I still dance a little for myself and support QLD ballet. I attend 4 performances a year (season ticket) and one is always the Nutcracker.
The signed pointe shoes were a special gift from my husband. They're signed by a dancer my son went to school with. They were both in excellence programs. She was dance excellenc (QLD ballet academy of dance) and he was football excellence (soccer). The football kids would often have training sessions with the dancers to work on their core/balance/stability.
@umyesh I was pretty impressed so was my son. I forgot to say she now dances for QLD Ballet so we get to see her living her best life. The one she worked so hard for. My son was awe struck last year when we went to the Nutcracker and she was Clara.
