JOURNALING:
JANUARY: Screenshot of January 6 insurrection at U.S. Capitol. Very sad day.
FEBRUARY: First appointment with new primary care doctor, Dr. Jalali
MARCH: First Covid shot on the 12th (second April 9th; booster Dec. 21st)
APRIL: Crew Home opener on the 18th- 0-0 tie with the Union. Two of my favs: Kacper Przybylko and PedroSantos
MAY: Afternoon tea at Asterisk Supper Club is always a highlight of the dayJUNE: Saw Curtain Players’ production of “Last Gas” by John Cariani’Live Theatre! YEA!
JULY: The fall that my sister took in the wee hours of the 5th resulted in “displaced oblique fracture of shaft of left femur” and surgery. I took care of her pup while she rehabbed.
AUGUST: This was just the beginning - A trip to the ER at the end of the month to redo some blood tests.
SEPTEMBER: View from my hospital room in HELL, especially on the 3rd when I felt I was being attacked by vampires as tech after tech tried unsuccessfully to start an IV
OCTOBER: This is a small part of the hospital’s Radiology/Oncology Dept. I can’t say enough about how WONDERFUL their care of me was.
NOVEMBER: “Dangerously low” blood sugar resulted in trips to the ER and a short stay in the hospital.
AWFUL!
DECEMBER: My first “infusion” of chemo drugs was at the end of the year. More to come in 2022.
