JOURNALING:
I am quite fond of bats, particularly vampire bats and little brown bats. Not so much fruit bats. I used to watch them flying around between buildings when I was waiting for my ride to pick me up after classes.
I’m afraid of bugs and spiders, but fearless with a can of RAID!!!!
I watched a flock of birds hold a “funeral” for a departed one in my front yard. [CREEPY and WEIRD]
I helped a co-worker return a baby bat to the woods when it became trapped near the county jail. [see #10 above]
I played “catcher” for my workplace softball team. On a play at the plate, I was knocked over by a runner trying to score, but I held on to the ball and tagged her OUT as I fell down. [YEA!]
I’m a “night” person.
I am obsessed with Canada Geese and LOVE that I live near a flock of them. [but not close enough to be plagued by goose poop!]
Best action movie: “Die Hard” and yes, it IS a Christmas movie!
We grew up eating Kraft macaroni & cheese dinner, with the packet of powdered cheese in the box, but never called it mac & cheese. It was always just “Kraft Dinner.”
I have eclectic musical tastes, from classical to country, but Frank Sinatra is and always will be my favorite singer. He IS “music” to me.
