Description
JOURNALING:
FLAG
When I first saw the condo I would buy two days later in 2018, the patio was not fully enclosed and there was an OSU flag flying on a stand at the sidewalk. (Location was actually a violation of condo “rules.”)
When I moved in, my sister gave me a Columbus Crew flag. I moved it inside the patio area (no longer a rules violator), and I had a gate installed to fully enclose the patio.
Also notice the tree in the neighbor’s yard in the earlier picture. You can already see that it has “issues” (leaves on only half of the branches.)
In the current picture taken today looking out over the fence, you can see there is no longer a tree. I miss it. A cardinal (state bird) used to sit on the very top of that tree and sing every morning.
Ironically, both pictures were taken on a rainy day.

Beautiful!! I love the then/now photo and the journaling.. I love reading your journaling … you always have interesting stories and so detailed!! I love the central placement of the photo, the banner and the beveled edge to make your page look like a picture hung on your wall! Well done!!

Interesting story of two "flags". I like how your page accent is flags! That IS quite a difference in your view now that the tree is gone.

What a well written story to explain your photo/photos. This is a great page for the challenge. The banner flags going across the page fit is so well with your story.

Beautifully done! I love seeing the contrast between the "then" photo and the "now" view! Great journaling as well! Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge!
