Journaling: In the spring of 2014, I took a “birding” class offered thru Santa Fe College. I had several types of birds I wanted to see in the wild including a bald eagle, an osprey, an owl and a Roseate Spoonbill. I knew we had eagles in Alachua County and I had already seen osprey so I was pretty sure I’d be at least half satisfied with the experience. The very first class we spotted a pair of bald eagles - so exciting! Eventually we also saw owls and ospreys among numerous other feathered friends. The very last class we went to Cedar Key. Toward the end of the day, we heard a noise and looked up in the sky - there was a single Roseate Spoonbill!!! Even though the bird was high in the sky, his pink color was unmistakable. All of my class expectations were fulfilled! It was a great day and a very interesting and rewarding class. 5/3/14 Cedar Key. FL

What a great picture of the bird flying! And I love how you have the original Roseate picture along with the sticker you make as an embellishment. Great job with the extraction, especially leaving a bit of the leaves.
oh love your Roseate Spoonbill(I never knew of them before, but am so glad I do now), sticker, it is perfection. What a great class you had also. Thank you so much for playing along with me!
