Journaling:
Nazee (cat) and JolieBelle (hen) were raised together in the horse
barn and had always slept together in JolieBelle's nest.
When it came time for Nazee to raise her babies,
she called upon JolieBelle to help her out. Throughout
their long lives together they always co-parented
their broods.They both died within a month of
each other at the ripe old age of 15.. To this day
I still have descendents of Nazee
that will have their litters with a
hen of their choice every time,
although none of them have the
relationship these two enjoyed.

      What a great way to document a special relationship. I would not have imagined that hens and cats could be friends. Cute LO and a sweet story.
