You’ve made it to your mid 60s. You are awesome. Sometimes life throws a curve ball, But in looking back, things always work out. They don’t always work the way you want them to work, but, frequently, they work out better than you could imagine. When I got laid off in my 30’s, remember, I decided to stay home with the kids and ended up homeschooling them! They still managed to both get Master’s degrees. Remember when things aren’t going right what the motto of 2018 was – Do Not Be Afraid! Faith has gotten me through all the good and bad and mediocre things so, far, I don’t expect that to stop. If you’re feeling blue, call one of the kids or go for a walk. Have a glass of wine and use the Waterford glasses. Eat well but still enjoy some chocolate! Call a friend for lunch every now and then – they may need a friend right now too. Remember though, you are never alone, and you deserve the best!
