What a beautiful page! I love the way you blended in your b/w photo into the background and then framed the photo of your family to show focus on your page of your wonderful day at the Olympic Centre ... I love the minimal elements used here too.. the blue bg paper is perfect to pick up the gorgeous blue sky in your photo and the touch of blue in your children's jackets... the stitched snowflake is a perfect element too.. love the simplicity to allow the blending and your framed photo to shine.. the blended photo with the soft edge blend almost looks like soft snow too!! Thanks for playing along with my challenge. Well done!
@cfile Cheers! I struggled with this one a bit, but you know, once I got it to this point I just knew it was done! It felt good
Thanks for the challenge!!
@Mumma848 I am so glad you hung in there and got over the hurtle of the challenge and you feel good!! That is what I was aiming at... you will find that once you try some of the MOC challenges with techniques, you will find that you will use them and they will be some of your favorite go to's down the road. Also mixing techniques gets to be fun too... not only do I like to scrap but I love learning new things in PS so that is why I love the challenges. The tecnique ones, after MOC get put in the Learning pad thread for future reference so we can continue to use the techniques we learn.. I love blending and use it time and time again.. I also love doing sketches, blending those into the background and then use the original photo... some really great pages come out of playing with techniques. So glad you enjoyed and accomplished a new technique!!! Well done!
