It's almost nine years since I lost my dad and yet some days it still hurts too much. I don't want to remember him as he looked those last years of his life so whenever I look at photos of him, they are always older ones. Young, strong, full of life and ready to take on the world. That's how I want to remember him. Not the sick and thin ghost he turned into before his early death. I miss him all the time.

oh Jeanet.. what a beautiful tribute page of your Dad. I am with you on everything you said... regardless how old we get our Dad's hold that very special place in our heart. We have to remember the vibrancy and the good times so the sad times at the end fade. I love your page and love all the elements you used. We belong to the same club and it is a club I am not happy to be in (mine is gone 18 months now and I miss him daily.) Remember the fun times he is always with you and would love the page you made of him and all the heartfelt sentiments. Big Hugs this Father's Day and eveyday.
