Here are the cards for part 3 of my June Memory Pockets Monthly series.
Making hybrid cards is a lot of fun for me, I love combining my stash with my digital stash.
This month I really wanted to create lots of layers, this is one of the things I love about making digital layouts.
The card on the left has a smooshed distress ink background in summery colours. And I added a strip of paper from the kit, with a glittery strip from my stash, to anchor the sun and the sentiment from the kit. I loved the sunnies in this kit, I have added them to lots of things!
The card on the right made me LOL. The bunny stamp is part of a set from Studio Calico and it is ancient, in the stamp set is a supersized ice-cream that the bunny can hold, so I totally recreated that here, but using one of the elements from the kit. I die-cut and stacked papers from the kit and added a wordstrip too.
I love how different these cards are, but because of the colours and the use of the kit, they feel like a family.
