Ahead of the July MPM release, here is the final part of my June Memory Pockets Monthly series.
Making hybrid cards is a lot of fun for me, I love combining my stash with my digital stash.
This month I really wanted to create lots of layers, this is one of the things I love about making digital layouts.
The card on the left uses one of my all-time fave stamps, a hippo eating a watermelon in a bikini - what's not to love?! I nestled her in amongst all the fun elements from the kit. I created the background using a pineapple background stamp from my stash.
The card on the right is one of my faves from this June series. I love to paper piece and it worked so well here with my girl stamp. I replaced her shirt and the band on her hat with papers from the kit. I even replaced her bag, with a bag from the kit. The background is a fun stamp from my stash and I also added a hello stamp.
I love making these cards, they stretch my stash and I have so much fun coming up with ways to meld the digital with the physical. I hope you are inspired to give it a go. You really don't need much, just print and go!
