- Yep, you read that right! I went Swimming with Pigs!!
My bestie turned 50 this year, so she came to Tampa and we went on a cruise to celebrate. Swimming with Pigs has been high on my bucket list, so we signed up for the excursion to 'Pig Island'.
It was super weird, but amazing and terrifying all at once. You get to give the pigs fruit and chicken sausage (I mean.. no pork here right!) and they get so excited that they run at you, 300lbs of pig charging at you is no joke. So they have this technique, you stand still, put your arms in the air and say 'No!' and the pigs just charge right past you! Amazing.
Oh and no photo of Lems, she hates selfies! And especially when she is in swimwear LOLs
