I didn't use much here. The background paper is a roll of wall paper I found in my mom's basement. The plates must have been a wedding gift to my parents and I imagine my mom didn't care for the fact that her name is spelled wrong. It's Anne, not Ann. I think the plates are adorable and hope to find a place for them in my house.

So beautiful, Val.. What a treasure re the roll of wall paper you found. I like how you made the template your own by duplicating the side strips and then putting the photo into the frames. The signature plates of your parents are so sweet and a treasure. Back then there was a lot of ceramics that were personalized. I have a tile that my great aunt made when I was born and I also have a few pieces that were my grandparents and parents that have their names so it must have been a thing back in the 50's. Re your Dad and Uncle building your house. How special. I know how hard it was for you and your brother to sell it. Big hugs, and beautiful page. Thank you for playing along with the March Template Challenge!
@cfile Wow, thank you so much. I truly appreciate all of your kind words. It was much harder work emptying the house out than selling it. FYI: My brother had not a thing to do with it, the only thing he wanted was to know how much and when it was over, meaning our mother. Sigh. That's his situation to live with, not mine. You can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family! I'm relieved he hasn't dared asked about her will.
