Oh my gosh, Patsy!! These photographs are amazing!! Are these possibly the Kuyasa Kids? I've seen them many times. My sister worked with them in Pendleton, Indiana and we've sponsored several children over the years.
Those faces are priceless, what a beautiful moment captured, the colors of your papers and elements are so beautiful with the kids clothes! Great page, thanks for sharing
@Cherylndesigns - the program is run by Music for Life and provides scholarships for students in Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya. I am not sure where the choir members reside but this was their first stop on a U.S. Tour on the West Coast. Seeing photos of their homeland makes one aware of the many things we in America take for granted and how blessed we are. Still joy does not depend on material possessions but on the condition of the heart.
Yes it does. It's hard to believe that these kids, who have practically nothing, can have this much joy. My sister has been over there several times and has toured with the Kuyasa Kids all over the US.
