Making a Master Bedroom

(We converted our loft into a master bedroom, but before we could do that, we needed to replace the old carpet and strip paint off the stairs.)
Journaling: I’m not sure I like these people’s conversations about a revamp. First, they cut up my friend Mr. Carpet who’s been here with me for 25 years. And did you see what they did to my stairs? They nearly drowned me in chemicals! Oh, Who’s this? A new carpet friend? She’s pretty! This might just be okay!
