I got this phrase from a New Orleans Talk show host. She always ended her calls with this phrase. I heard it so much from her that when my two oldest grand children came to live with me as teenagers, I started saying it to them. When they would leave with friends for the evening or go to their Mom or Dads for the weekend. I wanted them to know that they were in control of what they did or said in any given situation and that they alone were responsible for their own actions...so it was important that they make good choices.
