Journaling:
Meet Limping Lotta, a magpie who came here for a few years and ate at our bird feeder. She had a
deformed claw and was always a bit bullied by the other magpies. One year she came back and had
two chicks with her. I got to enjoy watching them hop around in the garden during the summer, but
then one day I realized she was no longer there, and since then I haven’t seen her again. I often
wonder what happened to her, but I suppose it was inevitable that she wouldn’t manage in such a
harsh life, given her deformed claw.
I love the horizontal flow, the yellow green paint, and your journaling. I would fall in love with Limping Lotta too, such a harsh life. This page is beautiful.
