I absolutely love this! Letting the tree be the focus of the layout is such a brilliant touch. I once (back in paper scrapping days) made a layout of a photo of me & my baby son and ended up writing a long piece of journaling about the sofa we sat in. This is such a fun way to do the journaling. Extra sweet that you had a photo of the tree when it was just planted (or at least very new).
