This tag is actually 2 layers. I have a smaller rectangle tag that I did all the actual design part on. Since I knew I was going to use some mixed media, I created a full size tag to mount it on so that the backside of the tag could be nice and clean with a finished look.
Background paper is 2 papers blended together. I placed the stamps and overlays that I wanted to show on my actual paper. I did a cover overlay to change them to white. I adjusted the opacity a little bit as I didn't want them to take away from the rest of the design.
I printed my tag in the actual finished size and fussy cut it. I added some texture paste around the edges and different spots of it.
For the evergreen, I printed the green from the basic back pack and printed double side. I cut fringe and created little fringe clusters that I then glued on my tag to create the branch effect.
Prior to adding the bird/word strip, I splattered white acrylic paint to create that snowy look all over. I then added the bird and word strip to finish the look.
What a pretty tag, you're very talented. I'd like to do some hybrid projects too, but I run out of time, but I admire people that do this kind of handicrafts. Nice use of the bird and foliage, so pretty.
@G.J. Thank You! I so get lost and lose track of time in these type of projects. They are my fave type of projects. @marijke Thank You! @Rachel Jefferies Thank You! This collection is so stunning and made creating this tag even more fun!!!
