- Our friends' little boy has autism and is nonverbal. He loves textures and things with weight, so I made him a tactile lap pillow with a sand bag insert. It was my first time ever sewing in a zipper. It's not the most amazing artistic thing ever, but Joel loved it, and there's nothing in the world like getting a smile from this little guy!
