Journaling Reads
My daughter’s mother-in-law introduced me to this Yiddish word which means, “parents of my child’s spouse”. She called to tell me we are now Machatunim right after our kids got engaged. I’d never heard of this word but had always wished there was an English word for this relationship. It’s important to get along with your future granchildren’s other Grandparents. Here we all are together when we first met on our trip to South Dakota.

This is a terrific page Beth! So glad that you learned a new word, scrapped this and have a wonderful connection with the in-laws of your daughter. I too have been lucky with that.. both re my in-laws and also my 2 sets of grand parents and the families. When everyone gets along, it is happy and cohesive. So glad you are all together in this first photo enjoying each other on your first meeting! Beautifully scrapped and what a wonderful word! Beautifully scrapped from the template to the elements that adorn and accent that special photo. Well done! Thank you for sharing and playing along with my MOC challenge!
