What a great photo, I love the seated pose with his hands carefully placed in his lap. Not too many formal shots taken these days. Yes, a great collage feel. Thanks so much for participating in Lynn's Scrap an Old Photo challenge. :heartlub

@mcurtt Thanks, Marilyn. They looked pretty stern back then. Very formal and I they had to sit still for a long time. Thanks for the challenge.

What a great vintage photo. He looks very thoughtful but not unnatural in the photo. And you created quite a colorful collage for his background.

I love this photo, too. And your page is lovely with all the old fashioned touches. I mentioned in another comment that the reason they didn't smile was because of how long it took to take the photos back then. They had to hold so still for so long. I think it was just more comfortable for them to not smile.
