Rachel Jefferies and Lynn Grieveson: The Past is Another Country Kit.
My mom and I had a complicated relationship but I was there for her no matter what, and loved her.
Sending hugs my friend.. I have been there re wanting to pick up a phone etc. I love the way you scrap this. Keep scrapping your emotions, it really helps to get it out.
oh...this is so powerful, your journaling made me feel your pain, I miss my mom and grief is not a easy thing to deal...like Christa said, keep journaling about it, it can help!
This is absolutely gorgeous and I just love how you've used the different papers and lovely banner. I'm so sorry about your mom...I think about picking up the phone to call my dad all the time.
@IntenseMagic Right? It's a strange game our mind is playing on us, oh I need to call mom or dad. Sigh. Thank you so much. @Ferdy Thank you and I'm sorry for your loss as well. I should make another appointment with my therapist, that helps too. I've been waiting until my knee is better and it is. @cfile Thank you so much, knowing that others understand and feel this makes it more bearable. I appreciate you and your kind words.
I love your honest journaling. Grief is hard. My husband died just over a month ago and, although I know he is gone, sometimes I look up expecting to see him come through the door or into the room.
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and feelings with us, that's a brave thing to do in itself and grief is such a long and windy hike isn't it, one I think that never ends. I love all of your layers here with deep shadows, both vertically and horizontally, intricate, overlapping, grief isn't a straight pathway - thank you for taking part in the challenge and sending so many hugs
